Excellent staff, very helpful and informative. They were sincere and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in Positano. Beautiful views of the sea and the town from our balcony and the room was spacious and lovely.
Lovely hotel and great location with views, although not for the faint hearted. You get a great workout as you'll need to climb up approx. 200 steps to get there, which with luggage can be a bit of a struggle. Although we didn't know at the time, but you can get help with the luggage from the hotel porter. To get to restaurants and other places, you will need to walk up more steps to get to the road or down the steps back to the beach. But in saying that. You get used to it and it's all part of the experience if staying in Positano.

Rosita, who worked the desk, was a terrific hostess. She was able to help us with all our questions.
Internet was spotty.

My husband and I loved Hotel Miramare. The location is superb. Close to the beach and action but not on top of it. We couldn't believe the brilliant view from our room. I'm not sure if all the rooms are so good. The room itself was clean, comfortable and charming. We had a deluxe room and the extra space was very welcome. The bathroom was very well appointed. The evening 'turndown service' far exceeded the usual. We felt as though the room was being cleaned twice a day! Rosita and her staff were so helpful. Nicola (?) made us feel very welcome on arrival. Later on other days Rosita gave us excellent 'real' information about Positano and other Amalfi Coast towns. Her guidance greatly enhanced our stay. For example, we ate at the best out of the way little restaurant on a day trip to Ravello that we'd never have found unguided.
Although the breakfast was included in the room price we found it to be served too late in the morning (8.00am) because we wanted to get started earlier most days and didn't come back to the hotel. This might not be a problem for most people and in fact it wasn't a real problem for us either as we found a great little Bar in the town that served great coffee. Also, Miramare's breakfast is very basic. The breakfast room, on the other hand, is really lovely as are the other common rooms in the hotel.

The staff, especially Rosita, Nicola and Renato were wonderful.
Location-- several steps from the main road, and hundreds of steps to the beach. Ants in the bedroom, air conditioning didn't work well, very small room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Miramare, the staff were all very helpful , and friendly, which made exploring the Amalfi Coast so much easier. The view from our balcony was amazing, so much activity to watch, and very private. Everything was there that we needed, so the holiday was very relaxing. So please pass on our thanks Rosita, and all the staff for a great holiday. We will tell our Australian friends to use the Miramare Hotel!
The steps, but not much anyone can do about that!

Spectacular. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We now wish that we had have stayed here longer than we stayed at the terrible Miramalfi. Great honeymoon spot. Loved everything except the huge amount of stairs!

the view and staff cannot be beat. also included with your stay is a wonderful boat ride thatshould not be missed. breakfast that is included is very nice.
location is good, however; the steps to get to the hotel are difficult. you must be in good shape to climb them or else it will take you a very long time to reach hotel

My stay in Italy ended in Positano with great satisfaction. Rosita and the staff were more than accomodating and made us feel at home. The view from our balcony was breath-taking and the location excellent. Wish I was back there and will return in the future.
